Sources for Track-Out Programs WCPSS Evaluation and Research Site This site contains information on student outcomes and current educational research. This site has accurate and up-to-date information about our schools. Character Education Resource Center In Wake County Public Schools, character education is integrated throughout the curriculum and into the community. This site includes definitions and links to additional resources. Emergency E-Mail Notification You may subscribe to WCPSS' Emergency Notification E-Mail Service. This service offers timely e-mails concerning urgent WCPSS news and important events such as school closings, delays in opening, early dismissals, etc. Report Card Dissemination Ladies & Gentlemen: It seems that the question of how school report cards must be/should be disseminated arises each year. Based on information from our attorneys here is the answer: Title I schools have already been advised by Willi Webb about the need to provide "hard copies" for each family. Non-Title I schools are NOT REQUIRED to send home hard copies of the school report card with each student. The report card may be mounted on the school's web site (or a link to the internet site) and paper copies may be made available to parents who request one. A notice in the school newsletter or other bulletin, saying that the report cards are available and how to access them (on-line or in print) is also advisable. Web Resources: Year-round Information: This site has information concerning the transition process, year-round calendars, etc. WCPSS School Menus: You can see what's for lunch! |
